PADI Discover Scuba Experience

Relax in the peace and calm of the weightless underwater World. Discover Scuba is a chance to experience for the first time the pleasures of Scuba Diving in the safety of a swimming pool. 

Why Discover Scuba?
The PADI Discover Scuba program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Professional in pool or pool-like conditions. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills and experience the thrill of breathing underwater. 

What do I need to start?
Minimum age: 12
A completed and signed Discover Scuba Diving brochure (supplied on booking).

What will I do?
When you participate in a Discover Scuba program, you discover the excitement, adventure, freedom, and serenity. Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. You will complete a knowledge development session and a confined water session (swimming pool).

How long will it take?
Get ready to dive today. Whether you watch the short PADI Discover Scuba video, or are briefed with the Discover Scuba Diving Flip Chart, you'll enter the water quickly and ready for your scuba adventure. The Discover Scuba program will take one to two hours.

What will I need?
Bathers & Towel.A sense of adventure.

Where can I go from here?
As soon as you start your Discover Scuba Diving experience, you're on your way to an internationally recognized certification. That's because you may learn skills used in the PADI Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba adventure. If you and your instructor elect to practice these skills, they may be credited toward the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

Explore the underwater world with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is designed to introduce non-divers to the magic and adventure of the underwater world, in the convenience of one day. 

Pre Requisites:
To participate in this experience you must be at least 12 years of age and have no pre-existing medical conditions. 

Course Outline:
Your Discover Scuba Diving experience consists of three parts: A knowledge development session, a confined water session (swimming pool) and an open water reef dive (ocean).

Note:
Please note that a certification is not obtained through either of the Discover Scuba experiences; however it may be possible to earn credit towards your PADI Open Water Scuba Diver certification. All equipment is supplied for this course, all you need is normal swimming attire.
