Entry Level Scuba Diver
PADI Scuba Diver A PADI Scuba Diver Program consists of three interconnecting components. First you will undergo a knowledge development session where you will learn important technical and safety information. You will then put your new-found knowledge into practice as you undergo a skills development workshop in a swimming pool. Finally, you will experience the wonders of the underwater world as you complete two open water dives at one of Adelaide's premier dive locations. Pre-requisites: Minimum Age: 12 years. Students under 15 years may qualify as a Junior PADI Open Water Diver and can upgrade when they reach 15 years of age. Medical Certificate: Please ask an Adelaide Scuba staff member to give you a list of dive doctors in South Australia. We can also assist with appointments with our Scuba Doctor.
Course Outline: Friday evening: introductory session and knowledge development (modules 1). Saturday morning: knowledge development (modules 2 & 3). Saturday afternoon: learn to dive in the swimming pool. Saturday (the following week): 2 open water dives at one of Adelaide's premier dive locations.
Included in the program: PADI Crew Pack (training manual, recreational dive planner and log book), equipment hire ( BCD, regulators, wetsuit, weightbelt and weights), air fills, instructor fees and certification package.
Course Cost: AUD$399 (A $100 deposit will secure your place in the program with the balance due on the first day. This will also entitle you to collect your training materials.)
Note: The PADI Scuba Diver program allows you to dive up to 12 metres with a PADI Dive Professional. Please speak to your Instructor on how to further your knowledge and skills to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver.
