Boat Diving
Whether you've never made a boat dive or you've logged dozens, the PADI Boat Diver Specialty course can benefit almost every diver because different boats in different parts of the world do things differently. The PADI Boat Diver Specialty course familiarises you with the various ways you stow gear, enter and exit the water, use surface lines and more, depending upon the type boat and the location. Must be: a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organisation) Be 12 years old You will: Covers techniques for diving from boats ranging from small inflatable's to live-aboards Discuss how dive boats differ from place to place Focuses experience and training for diving from boats in Adelaide Covers basic boat safety equipment and use Gain experience and direction under the professional supervision of a PADI instructor. Your Boat Diver certification will count towards your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
You will do 2 open water dives and a knowledge development session. Course Fee: AUD$395.00. A AUD$100 deposit will secure your place on the course, with the balance due on the first day. You will be provided with your Boat Diver manual & DVD, 2 boat dives, air fills, wall certificate and certification card. Equipment Requirement: Full SCUBA Recommended: SMB (safety sausage), scuba alert or whistle *please note that it is recommended that you purchase your own equipment at this level of training.
