Night Diving
Designed as an introduction to night diving, the PADI Night Diver course helps divers develop the necessary skills, knowledge and techniques to safely participate in night diving.
You must: be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from other organisation). Be 14 years old You will: learn night dive planning and organisation During your open water dives you will practice entries, exits and navigation at night, nocturnal aquatic life, communication and light handling. Gain experience with night diving under the professional supervision of a PADI instructor. Your Night Diver certification will count towards your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
You will do 3 open water dives and a knowledge development session. Course Fee: $395.00. A $100 deposit will secure your place on the course, with the balance due on the first day. You will be provided with your Night Diver manual & DVD, 1 boat dive, air fills, wall certificate and certification card.
Equipment Requirement: Full SCUBA, gloves, primary and back up lights
Recommended: SMB (safety sausage), u/w slate, knife
Cool Toys: Canister HID light
Note: It is recommended that you purchase your own equipment at this level of training. Equipment may be hired from Adelaide Scuba at a cost of $75.00 for the course. **On courses with boat dives, it is an Adelaide Scuba requirement that you carry an SMB
